Palliative Care PROJECT- VISIT 2

     The palliative group of the the NSS UNIT(4 volunteers each taking the turn every Second Saturday )  visited 8 patients in the school premises in the morning of Saturday,11th August 2012 under the guidance of AUGUSTINE JOSEPH(FORMER PROGRAMME OFFICER AND PALLIATIVE WORKER) and RADHAKRISNAN C.K( PROGRAMME OFFICER).The volunteers checked the BP and measured the blood glucose level of the patients.They chatted with the old women and the ailing people.
     The families welcome our visit happily.The patients have admitted the fact that they feel relaxed and  glad at the presence of the volunteers.As the the junior health assistant was on leave, some of the families were overjoyed to accept our service.
