KARKIDAKAKKANHI

Medicinal Gruel (KARKIDAKAKKANHI)  was prepared USING 10 VARIETIES OF HERBAL PLANTS by the NSS unit under the guidance of Sajeevan Vaidyar Kamballur and distributed to the students and staff (800 IN NO.) of GHSS  Kamballur

.The function was inaugurated by Parvathi Amma Peralam ,a traitional medical practioner and a specialist in poison treatment.

The programme was part of collecting and using traditional knowledge to improve people's health.(REF UNIT .4,BLOCK 1;ENGLISH READER;12 TH STD,KERALA SYLLABUS).IT HELPED THE STUDENTS TO HAVE AN AWARENESSS ABOUT OUR TRADIONAL MEDICINES AS WELL AS THE NEED FOR PROTECTING OUR HERBAL PLANTS.
