PLASTIC MALINYA RAHITHA KASARGOD

 (A programme for Kasargod without plastic waste )

 The district wise  permanent arrangement for plastic  removal in KASARAGOD  under the guidance of the higher secondary National Service Scheme , Kasargod and Shuchithwa Mission , Kasargod will be inaugurated at 2 PM on October 8,2013 in GHSS CHAYYOM by Lakshmanan .K ;the Panchayath president,KINANUR KARINTHALAM panchayath

The team led by Manoj Kumar.K ,the district coordinator of the the higher secondary National Service Scheme , Kasargod and Vinodkumar.A,Assistant Coordinator,Shuchithwa Mission , Kasargod will accompany the collection vehicle to all the 23 units in the district on  prearranged dates at least once a month to ensure zero plastic waste in the school premises concerned.

The team will be visiting G H S S KAMBALLUR at 3.30 P M;Mathruka Shuchithwa Gramam Kollada at 3.45 P M and ST.THOMAS HSS; THOMAPURAM at 4.30 pm.on the inaugural day.

The wastes will be collected with the help of Kudumbasree workers and Purusha Sahaya Samgham members ( self help units ) from each house in the area in two sacks each ;one for plastic bottles and pens and the other for all other plastic wastes .;one collection point for each Kudumbasree.

The NSS volunteers will take these sacks of waste to the collection point in the school campus from where it will be loaded to the truck arranged by the district team .The area targetted to be free of plastic waste  this time is the wards close to the school premises.
