The following activities were conducted by the NSS unit and Bhoomithra Sena Club this week as part of observing Environment day in Kamballur on 5/6/2013
1.Visitng a paddy field in KADUMENI ,6 KM away from school and
familiarising with farming activities GUIDE-NALLUR KUNHIKKANNAN NAIR AND APPUKKUTTAN NAIR 4/6/2013
2. JALAKELI-quiz competition on water conservation 5/6/2013
3. Essay competition on the topic Think , Eat and Save 5/6/2013
4. Awareness class on prevention of dengue fever by Health Assistant Dasan.P for NSS unit members;kudumbasree workers and JCI members.
5.Street cleaning ,cleaning the premises of PHC KAMBALLUR;and Anganavadi. by NSS unit members;Kudumbasree workers and JCI members.
6.Poster competition on LIGHT POLLUTION AND ENVIRONMENT 5/6/2013
7.Distribution of seedlings to 560 students in the campus in collaboration with the health department.
8.Planning and budgetting of THE PROJECT-WATER RESOURCE CLEANING by Bhoomithra Sena Club in the PTA meeting.4PM;5/6/2013
